Rear End Length?
Would anyone know if I have the longer rear end on my 70 GMC? It's about 59". The reason being is that I want to change out the 6 lug axles to 5 lug.

its all about the +6 inches

backing plate to backing plate is 56 inches early, and 57 1/2 inches late on the 70 model.
