steering universal rubber boot?
Im powder coating my steering assymbly. Anyone know where I can find a new rubber boot that goes over the universal joint? Mines cracked.

I have been told they are no longer available. I plan to change mine out to one of the univeral joint kits to do away with the rubber cover.

I dont know for sure but you may be suprized by asking a friendly parts guy at the dealership. you might have to buy the whole bell joint assembly. I have used aftermarket "racing" joints only to have them get gritty with road debris.
