6 lug stock rotors
Im about to get a set of stock 72 C-10 disc brake spindles for my 67 but Id like to keep my 6 lug set up. All the local parts stores seem to only show a 5 lug available. Is there a different year I should be looking for to get 6 lug rotors for my truck? Thanks all

Re: 6 lug stock rotors
No, the 6 lug rotors are special rotors that the aftermarket companies have made up special. You have to pay the bucks and buy them from a vendor.

Re: 6 lug stock rotors
From what I have read on here, and what some have done, is use 88-98 3/4 Ton 2X4 light duty rotors. They are 6 lug and you will have to change the lugs. They are metric. They're available at Autozone.

Re: 6 lug stock rotors
i bought six lug rotors for my'67 from early classic enterprises(www.earlyclassic.com). they are new,not redrilled 5 lug rotors.all you need to do is install new bearings for a '72.

Re: 6 lug stock rotors
Cool, what other front end parts or swaps did you have to use to get disc brakes on your 67?

Re: 6 lug stock rotors
I used the entire cross member and steering from an 88 sub. I thought I could use the 91 6 lug rotors but the centerline of the rotor is ½ “ off to the outside and the calipers won’t fit. Now I need to find out if the aftermarket rotors from classic enterprises and such will fit the 88 sub spindles or if I’m going to have to change spindles. Now I’m wondering if the 91 spindles will fit?? If I get it figured out I’ll post the results…
