Re: Powder coated parts
Hey Mike,Ernest Spencer Custom Coatings is the their name. They are right on the corner of Davis and Wilson st. in Ottawa(Industrial park)north east side of town. They are a new company here.I was using RMI(they are right behind my house)They do golf carts in Olathe too,I think.RMI is higher and it takes them longer to get to my stuff.
Talk to Andy.I think the phone # is 785-242-8538.I will double check it tomorrow.

Re: Powder coated parts
In Oklahoma City here I was quoted for 300 dollars and thats with a sandblast and a powdercoating of the frame. Powdercoating really isn't as expensive as I figured it would of been.

Re: Powder coated parts
Holly Cow, I just had to move from Kansas, One question though, were the parts sandblasted first?

Re: Powder coated parts
I paid $200 for the last frame I had done in Tigard, Oregon. My oven is 5x3.5x3.5, so I can do most everything myself. My old oven was a little bigger, I could fit bumpers and axles in it. I cut it down to fit the new space, but it still works great for just about everything else.
That is a great price you paid. I used to pay an average of $15 a part up to $100 as long as it was all the same color. But my stuff was shot after hours and sometimes took a couple days. |

Re: Powder coated parts
Man, at that price there would be many newly powdercoated items at my house.
