Track Bar
Whats the scientific way to set up the adjustable trac bar?
Should I just go with the tried and true method of the wheels look centered left to right.....looks good to me.

Re: Track Bar
use a tape measure from the outside of the frame to the inside of each rear wheel. I would use the WHEEL as the reference point and NOT the tire ... tire sidewalls will vary whereas the wheel should not.

Re: Track Bar
I agree, but want to add....
Have the truck jacked up and supported by the axle, not the frame 9you may say duh... but you'd be amazed at the ppl i see who do this for a living....) and also, I would have the truck loaded with what ever you should normally be carrying, ie, spare tire, tool box in the back, what ever. A 1/2 tank of fuel is a good middle ground for this too. |
