FS: 67 Front fenders, stepside tailgate

First off, this stuff is in Columbia SC (2 hours away) I will be going back there on the 28th (hopefully). I will not be able to get shipping quotes until I can get the stuff brought back to greenville, boxed and weighed.

The front fenders: I won't lie, these fenders are NOT in great shape. In my personal opinion they will need both front full cups and the rear of both fenders replaced from the body-line down. Both fenders are fairly straight but the driverside has a large amount of bondo on it from a dent that was filled in. Fenders do not come with any bolts or hood hinges. I'm asking $20 for each fender + shipping. I really don't want to ship them because it would probably cost 60 or 70 or more?? per fender, which in my opinion is not worth it. SOLD

The tailgate: The best that I can recall is that the tailgate has small rust holes in the areas I circled in the pics. I filled them in with bondo about 9 years ago and they haven't come back yet. The tailgate is very straight and is a solid original. I think it would be worth cutting out the bad spots and replacing them with new metal, but that is beyond my abilities. I think I also filled some small dents on top of the gate... 9 years was a long time ago... $40 + shipping. SOLD

I also have this piece of crap tailgate that I got screwed on on ebay, I lost A LOT of money on it. The area around chevrolet is bent all to hell and is very dented overall. It has a slight bow as well. In my opinion this tailgate is only good for a work truck or a trailer. $10 + shipping. SOLD

These are the only pics I have. I will get lots more (and bring the parts home with me to my apartment) if there is any serious interest. The reason I am posting this now and not in two weeks is that my uncle wants this stuff out of his yard soon and if they don't sell I will be scrapping this stuff, except the decent tailgate.

Please no PM's. Reply to this thread only. Only the parts listed are for sale, nothing else in the pictures is for sale.

The good tailgate is the one attached to the truck, the other pictures are of the crappy tailgate.

Re: FS: 67 Front fenders, stepside tailgate

I would be interested in the fenders depending on the bondo that you metioned. Are the fenders straight around the head light area and how are the mounting holes, are they factory or slotted or messed with?
If they are good above the body line i will take them.Plus Columbia is closer for me then Greenville.
Pm me and let me know

Re: FS: 67 Front fenders, stepside tailgate

The mounts have not been messed with as far as I can remember and there is no damage at all to the headlight area. Like I said, they look good in the pix but will need the front cups and rear area below the bodyline replaced. I'll take lots of pics when I go back to columbia.

Re: FS: 67 Front fenders, stepside tailgate

I'm interested in the good tailgate and could actually come and pick it up if that would be alright with you. I live in Spartanburg (Chesnee),SC and just bought a step side bed without a gate. So if you still have it consider it sold. Just PM me and let me know when you get it home.
Thanks,
Bryan

Re: FS: 67 Front fenders, stepside tailgate

My girlfriend lives in spartanburg (off 29 a few miles from hwy 26) I may be able to meet you close by. I will bring it back with me when I come back from columbia (hopefully next weekend).

The fenders and "good" tailgate are considered sold until futher notice

I still have the crappy tailgate if anyone needs one for a work truck or trailer. These will also fit 55-87 trucks (I think)

alschevy: The parts I'm selling are coming off of my own personal truck that I am restoring, it's the only truck I have. $300 bucks is a great deal for a 1 ton.

Re: FS: 67 Front fenders, stepside tailgate

Fenders sold.

I did get the tailgate, I'll snap some more pics of it today. The next 4 weekends I'll be in columbia, then athens, then florida, then columbia again so I may need to meet you sometime during the week after 7pm.

Re: FS: 67 Front fenders, stepside tailgate

That would be fine. I work a 12 hr. shift and don't get off work until 7pm anyway and I work every other week end. When are you coming to Spartanburg again or I could meet you between Greenville and Spartanburg.
Let me know when you are available. I'm off Wed. and Thurs of this week.
Thanks,
Bryan
