Trouble pulling my 350

It's a 72 K-20 with 350 and 4 speed manual tranny. I've pulled everything from the engine and disconnected engine mounts. Have the engine hoist bolted in and positioned. Can raise the engine, but can't pull her away from the 4 speed manual.

I've removed the two bolts that connect manual tranny to bell housing. Can't seem to find any more bolts. Am I doing something wrong? Can't even pry her apart.

Suggestions? Thanks.

Get in the truck and hit the clutch pedal, sometimes that helps. Your trans input shaft probably has a burr on it or something

There are 4 bolts from bellhousing to tranny as well. Two outside on top, and two inside on bottom coming from inside the bellhousing.

THANKS! That was my problem!!! It's out and swinging right now. Have housing off as well as clutch & flywheel. Need to make run to hardware store for bolts long enough for engine stand

Happy.
