fuel gauge fuse????????
So I was lookin at the reason behind my gas gauge being pegged at the 3oclock position. I then saw the fuse marked fuel gauge is missing. Its got two male ends in the fuse block so its one of those femail U shaped fuses, I tried lookin up the size in my chiltons, but it didnt specify it.
Does anyone know what that fuse amperage would be 69 c10 250 I-6 if it matters

Re: fuel gauge fuse????????
That male terminal you see is a plug.
There should be a tan/brown wire going from the fuel tank's sending unit, to that wire. If you are missing that wire all together, (slide seat forward and look at the sender) PM me, i got a wire here complete with plug for 5 bucks shipped. |

Re: fuel gauge fuse????????
ok i foudn the wire, it has a single plug on it, does it plug into the top or bottom blade in the fuse block, or is that the wrong connector, the wire does run from the fuel sending unit

Re: fuel gauge fuse????????
From the looks of the pic it should go in the top one as the red line is pointing to it.

Re: fuel gauge fuse????????
I know the feeling,I've worked many shutdowns at Ford, and Toyota plants here in Ky and most are 7-18 days long and 12-14 hrs a day.6-8 times a year and the best part is the money, but I hate putting in that much time

Re: fuel gauge fuse????????
That is the correct location, the one beside it is for the clearance lights, it turns on with the parking lamps.
