Brake booster
I want to take off my brake booster on my recently acquired 1972 swb w/ original 350 to clean and paint it as it is one of the few things under the hood that was not replaced or painted or chromed. Is this an easy job that doesn,t require rebleeding brakes, etc. Anything I shoud know about before I start.(I have ordered a repair manual but it is not here yet). Thanks in advance.

Re: Brake booster
very easy...unbolt the master and swing out of the way...remove booster
if the master is leaking in the rear...well then...you need to do some bleeding.. |

Re: Brake booster
Leave the check valve in the booster while you clean and paint it.
That way you'll be sure to never get any contaminants inside.
