Question Eaton dually Question

The 1ton Eaton dually axles are HO-110's correct? Ok, they have the pinion load bolt sticking out the front drivers side of the diff case just like the HO-72's used in 3/4 tons. My question is can you swap a HO-72 center for a HO-110 center? Are the axle shafts the same 19 coarse spline shafts?

Re: Eaton dually Question

H110 have 10 wheel studs, and a non-removable rear cover (welded).
H072 have 8 wheel studs, and came in single or dual wheel configurations (1 ton).
H052 have 8 wheel studs, and came in single wheel only (3/4 ton).

The H110 has a much larger ring gear, so I dont know the the center section will interchange with the H072?

The H052 and H072 center sections will interchange with each other, load bolt or not, dually or single wheel.

Re: Eaton dually Question

OK, then I have a HO-72 under this C-30 I'm parting out, not a HO-110.... my mistake.
Thanks for the info.

Re: Eaton dually Question

Chris, the HO52 was a 3/4 ton only, and the HO72 was a one ton only piece.
