Yes you can polish a turd. In the end all you get a shiny POS. I'm not looking at a shiny POS am I...

Nice truck, I've got several "turds" out back. If polishing will make them look that good I'm buying a case of wax.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It's really not a turd, I just wanted to see what kind of response the thread would get. The pictures really do it justice. It needs a dr. side cab corner, new rockers. The hood has some wierd rust spots on the bottom side, so I'm installing a cowl hood. It needs a pass. side fender and inner fender(I have a NOS inner) and obviously a new front bumper. It's gonna be painted PPG Atlantic Blue. I'm gonna keep the silver grill with the grill trim painted body color like it is now. If I don't like it I can chrome the grill trim. I'll lower it some more, change the exhaust(headers to tips), adding A/C, looking into the Vintage Air Front Runner accessory system. I can get it in what they call the Hardcoat Package, which has anodized brackets and pulleys and natural finish alt., a/c comp., and p/s pump. I'm over all the billet and polished aluminum. I'm lookin for low maintenance.
