Blazer Carpet Strips? Are these right?

Are these the correct original carpet strips? They are in a 71 Jimmy CST

Neither look original to me.

I would be interested in the rubber floor mat in the first pic, that is
if you would like to sell it. Let me know.

Re: Blazer Carpet Strips? Are these right?

Interesting question--in my limited experience in having been involved in parting out some 8-10 Blazers/Jimmy's, the carpet stirps came in two forms--one like you show in your picture, and one in chrome that is folded and would sandwich in the rubber weather strip and is much heavier. This chrome strip is most common in the rear while the "door threshold" type strip as you picture tends to show up on the front of the carpet. I suspect that just like the other unique Blazer items--some mysteries will remain--: Some have radio speaker in the dash like trucks and some have smooth dash with speakers mounted under the dash~~~~Some have single wall and some have double wall tops~~~. I haven't been able to verify a distinct pattern as the CST high end optioned Blazers came both ways???? If you need pictures, let me know.

I agree with Huck. Carpet strips at the tailgate are configured to hold the weather strip. The style like the one in your picture are carpet strips for behind the front seats.
