Cab Support Question

What is the difference between slip on cab support, and replacement cab support? Pics would be great too...

I want to figure this out before I go and pickup these and other parts from a local source.

Thanks...Jim

Re: Cab Support Question

The replacement support takes the place of your old support. You cut the old one out and weld in the new one. The slip on version just fits around the old support without removing the old, presumably rusted one. If you are going to go to the trouble of fixing your cab, I recommend the replacement version. I wouldn't suggest leaving the old rusted part in the truck, it will just continue rusting!
