Man what a road trip!
I just got home from a 1000+ mile rd trip! Onetonk5 and myself drove to Woodridge's house Saturday night. (bad directions on my part I printed David's Pm and cut off the margins) We then headed for Cinccinata Ohio to pick up Onetonk5's 72 K5 blazer that he bought off Ebay. We crashed in Kentucky and headed up sunday morning! The truck belonged to Pierce another board member. We were impressed with the truck took it for a spin everthing went good we go back to do paper work and shut the truck off then fire it back up hot and everthing works like a new truck! We go in and do the paper work and go out to leave and she wouldn't start! We determine that it has no fire! Pierce and I run to the Zone with module in hand they test it several times and it checks out good so we bought a coil and reinstalled the module and new coil again the truck cranks like new. We head south keeping a good eye on everthing. The truck seems to be running a little warm so we stop and check the water its a little low so we top it off. Back on the rd again somewhere in Kentucky truck runs great but a little warm still. We stop again to try some water wetter and a new cap but it decides not to crank again. We replace the module and rotor tightened the speedo cable to stop a little leak and we are on the rd again. We got back to Woodridge's late and he was a ton of help loading a truck frame. I swapped Robb (tnblazerk)for the 67 bed I had. We crashed in Knoxville and had an uneventful drive back to Alabama.
What a Drive. Kevin
