Thumbs up First Round of Texas Meet Pics

Here are just a few of the pics from the Southern Bowties first annual meet at Lake Lavon. There sure were some great people there and I made many new friends. We had such a great time, hopefully more will get involved for next year after seeing how much a fun time there was to be had. We had approximately 20+ awesome cars/trucks and one elcamino show up. These are just a few of the pics, more to come shortly. I personally took 68 then others took plenty as well.

Local guys, be looking for future events! We will be making trips to Keller's as we always do once or twice a month. We are also making plans to make regular trips to the local drag strips for some fun and grudge racing and to watch the ever famous Texas King of the Hill races.

Here's a like to some of the eye candy that was there.

Talking

Here is another link where a fellow member of the Metroplex Muscle Car Club has posted quite a few pics and a small write up.

Enjoy!

Hey 67_SS396,
Is there a mailing list for the 'local guys' events? I'm a little ticked I forgot about this weekend. I'm still a little while away before the law will allow my truck on the streets. I really want to show off my engine swap and see what you guys think.

Thanks.
