Re: 1968 c10 troubles?
Welcome to the board from sunny south Seattle!!!! '68 had large rear windows (small windows ended in '67) but there were some left over cabs that were used in fleet vehicles like railroad, highway departments etc. If you have one of those it will be a very rare truck indeed. The large rear window "Panoramic View Window" was an option in '67.

Welcome to the board.
I have yet to see any proof of the left over cabs... but, there's been plenty of ppl whi say they've seen one. However, the C/40 and up trucks, commonly had small back windows well into the late 70's if not later. |

Now that Longhorn Man mentions it...lots claim that they are out there but I have never seen one myself either. Then again I'll be looking for Saskwatch again tomorrow in the high Cascades too...LOL!

Re: 1968 c10 troubles?
if the 5th digit in your VIN is an 8, and you have a small back window, and it all looks to be original.... then you may have the proof that no one has been able to find.
Of course, it would need to apear non molested, and have a very low production number. |
