Edelbrock Carb and Brake Booster Vaccuum Line
I am getting ready to install power brakes on my truck. The back of my carb has the plug screwed in the back and I am unable to find any fitting that would allow me to connect a vaccuum hose into that vaccuum inlet. Do any of you know what the part number for that connector would be or what I can do? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I just got an old fitting from a spare carb and it worked fine. You may want to make a run to autozone and ask to see their fittings. They will have a set of boxes in the back with fittings that should work.

yea take the carb to ace hardware the hole should be 3/8x16 or 18 you shold be able to find the correct fitting to do the job... mark

I just used a plastic vacuum line Tee that will fit various size hose. I got it at Napa, it was on one of those little isle stands that rotate. That way I was able to run multiple lines of varying size from the same fitting.

I bent up a brake line (dont remember the size, sorry) and got the line close to the booster, then clamped on a piece of hose to the brake line and the booster.

there should be a vaccume port on the manifold directly in back of the carb then you get a fitting from any autoparts store and hook to the booster just like they did from the factory
