Transmission Options
Hey everyone,
My truck right now has a 350 trans. and a Np203 xfer case. But, I cant decide on keeping the 350 or switching to a manual. If I do decide to switch it out, what kind of trans. should I look for? I am building a 350 right now for it. And, I would like the trans. to bolt up to the 203 xfer case. Since I have already went and bought the shaft kit. Also, the truck has 4 inches of lift on it, but, I dont have a clue if I am going to keep it or not either. Thanks, Harvard |

The 4 speed (sm465) that bolts to the 203 is going to be tough to find. If I remember right, I think that was a one year only deal in 1973. Then the 203 was paired only with the autos and the manuals got the 205.
