10" rims on 33 x 10.5 x 15, suggestions?
I already have a set of 15x10" rims. I just got a great deal on some 33x10.5x15 BFG's and am wondering how they will look? Should I go with the 8" rim, I wanted to go for 12.5 width tire but couldn't pass on this deal. Link is to the Ebay auction. Any pics of this combination would be great...thanks

I have always ran 10" rims. Most of the tires were 12.50 and they looked fine.

my concern is the 10.5" tire on the 10" rim. Guess I will just try it out

With a 10" rim (probably 4" B/S) you might rub on the rear of your fenders during full/tight turn. If you have a 4" lift, no worries. The 10.5's will be fine but looked a little 'straight' on the sidewalls. |

Sould work, kinda borderline on clearing the body and rim width.I`d say you have the perfect size for a non-lifted truck if you used 8" rims...

Re: 10" rims on 33 x 10.5 x 15, suggestions?
new problem, I just learned that PA has a law against tires sticking out from the fenders...any insight on this from the forum? My 10" are about 1-2"outside the overhang of the rim. It will be close so I will see...

That old law???Do they mess with 30+ year old trucks for that?I`ve never been bothered in Maryland.

Re: 10" rims on 33 x 10.5 x 15, suggestions?
My tires are 33x12.5's on 8" rims and I have very minimal rubbing problems, only when the plow is on the truck and up. My tires also stick out of the front fenders about 3/4" and I haven't ever had any problems getting inspected. Worst come to worst, just keep an old stock set around to slip on for inspection.

Re: 10" rims on 33 x 10.5 x 15, suggestions?
well... I only mounted one rim to see what it would do. Not happy with it and going for 15x8's instead. It would work if that's all you had but I am looking for alloy rims anyway. I can always go larger with the tire on the 8" rim later. Thanks... Here is a pic of the results...Looks good from the distance but I don't like the straight sidewall with a funny lip at the rim. I would rather have a little rounded sidwall. They did have about an inch from rubbing the front fender... not sure if the 12.5 on the same rim would work on my truck without help... I can take a better pic if anyone is interested in the results. send email address...
