What did you get done?
I was on call this weekend so I didn't get anything done to my 77. As usual I washed my daily drivers, and of course it rained on them.
I went out looking for a new daily driver this weekend. I found a couple that I liked, but now I'm trying to decide if I want black or red. I need to buy something to hold me over till the 2007 GM trucks are available..... What did you get done?

Re: What did you get done?
Nothing truck related really.
Saturday I cleaned out the garage so I can start thinking about bringing the Blazer back home. Sunday I installed a couple of amps and built a sub box for my buddys 01 Chevy crewcab. |

Re: What did you get done?
Had a death in the family so I made a solo road trip to West Texas, almost 1000 mile round trip in one day........today I feel my true age
The color choice for Ken is RED, remember your last daily driver that was black? Almost killed you trying to keep it clean...... |

Re: What did you get done?
Sat AM, I went to a small local swap meet in Garland @ Autobahn Park. I picked up a new 4-core radiator for $100. I ran into several old friend & did some catching up. I got home & worked on my 68 Sat afternoon. I didn't realize the brackets were different on the 3-row vs. 4-row radiators so I played around w/a couple different options. I'm currently looking for the correct bracketry/rubber.
Today I was lazy & watched the race & then worked on installing the van tilt into the 68. I managed to get it temporarily installed but need a few parts to finish up. Not as productive as I wanted, but I @ least did some stuff.

Re: What did you get done?
Washed and waxed the 86, made a big mistake and used this eagle one wheel cleaner - stupid stuff left stains all over my wheels, now using wenol to get it off, I tried the mothers buffing wheel and cleaner and it did no good. Anyone else have an idea on how to get this off?

Re: What did you get done?
I worked all weekend. I did get some time in on the Blazer between shifts and got the timing gear setup and balancer installed. I got burnt on the neck and shoulders pretty good so I had to call it early. Tomorrow I'm going to have to get some bolts the PO lacked using Hopefully it will be able to check the timing etc. with the new timing chain etc.

Re: What did you get done?
I worked my butt off on Saturday at In-N-Out, then went to an MR2 meet on Sunday.
I plan to clean my suspension and wheels this weekend. |

Re: What did you get done?
I got my tilt column installed. Unfortunately there's some slop in the upper shaft, my steering wheel isn't straight when the wheels are, the blinkers don't shut off, and my back up lights come on between park and reverse and go off in reverse. So I guess I know what I'm doing next weekend.

Re: What did you get done?
Well, I found my way back to this forum. I haven't done a thing to the truck in almost 10 months. Too many other projects getting in the way. Hopefully I will be able to get back on it soon.

Re: What did you get done?
I got a rebuild power steering gear and installed it, it stuck turning to the left but worked ok turning to the right so I ripped it back off there and exchanged it for another one. I put the new one on and it works perfectly. :] Next weekend is scheduled for a front end rebuild with my rebuild kit from performance suspension :]

Re: What did you get done?
Got the frame spray bombed and most of the front suspesion peices. Decided I am going to take a little bit of time and this truck look nice before I start on the Chevelle.
