Pics of alternator assembly
Hi, can anyone post a pic of their truck or blazer on how alternators were originally assembled and what brackets are holding it, please.

Hey Chris, thanks that helps alot but also want to know if the alternator is bolted to the exhaust manifold or if theres other brackets around it.

No and no. The bracket as shown by Chris bolts to the head and then the strap to the intake I believe. Nothing to the exhaust or any hidden bracket.

The top arm is bolted to the head through one of the bolts holding on the cradle.
