Anyone still a member of this club?
Has anyone heard anything from the National Chevy GMC truck association? A while back the editor fell from a tree and had some medical problems. That was like a year ago almost. Anyone else a member or know anything that is going on?

I inquired about joining and starting a local chapter about a month ago. This is the email I got back from one of contacts listed on their web site.
Hi Tom, The National Chevy GMC Truck Association is no longer in operation. I have not been in contact with the owner Jim Knight in several months, however I do not see it up and running in the near future. I formed my own truck club many years ago here in Northern California, we later became a chapter of the Association. It is still going strong and puts on an all truck show every year. If you are interested in forming a group of truck owners in your area I would be more than happy to provide information on how best to go about it. It requires lots of dedication, legwork and patience to get a club going. The payoff is lifelong friendships, activities & a network to share information about the Chevy/GMC trucks I love so much. Thanks for your inquiry! Jim Beidatsch ------------------ Unrestored 68 C-10 CST. 327 4-Speed. 48,000 miles. Bummer, I really liked that club too! They really knew what they were doing. Maybe it was too much of a good thing. Too bad.

Yeah, I got the same thing from the editor about 9 months ago,he said they would be back on there feet soon. The shame of it all was that the mag. Pickups and Panels in Print was a good one,and i had just payed my dues the month before.
