Dash light modification

I did a search with no success. Can someone direct me to the thread where a guy did the silver paint mod to a 73-87 instrument cluster. He even had before and after pics. Thanks in advance.

Wow.. that's Nice...

I was thinking about changing to LEDs they are $2-$6 a pop.
Judging from those pictures it looks like a rattle can of chrome paint is the way to go.

I might attempting to make an improvement on this concept shortly.. I have this mod on my 82, but going to try something a bit different on my 87. I will post with the results when I do it.
