Tach Conversion
I picked up my new factory tach today, put on the silver overlay and painted the needle tangelo to match my other needles but I cannot install it I need the tach tins.
I did a search and could not find anything regarding adding a tach to the existing tin OR where to get replacement tin without having to buy the whole conversion kit. I already have the tach lens and the tach, I need the tin that goes over the guages with the tach hole and the tin that the guages attach to (I can always modify that part if needed). All of the shops I looked at online ONLY carry it in the conversion kit, not seperately. HELP Mike |

Re: Tach Conversion
You might try looking on Evil-bay (also known as eBay) See tach conversion parts there from time to time. Sometimes indiviually, some times the complete set. Also might post a "want to buy" add here on the board.

Re: Tach Conversion
Several of the vendors carry the 2 piece housings. GMC Pauls has them for $45, and I got mine from someone else several years ago. I think it was Cheyenne Superman back then. Anyway, there are a couple of different vendors. Originally, I just cut mine to get it to fit. Looks nicer with the punched ones though. I think maybe Byrd sells them too, for around $50. Later, Jeff.
