Floor shifter /needed?

Previous owner on my 65 took off the three on the tree and put in a floor shifter , but the dang thing just does not work good linkage always hanging up... any recomedations on a good shifter for a three speed?

I like the Hurst Mastershift 3 Speed. It is a 3 speed equivalent of the Hurst Competition Plus 4 speed.

i used a mr gasket shifter on the 81 i converted to a 3 spd on the floor, i never had any problems with it took a few trys to get the linkage right but once i did it shifted like a toploader

I used the same one never had a problem after I adj. it right.

it is a mr gasket, but when you go into firts gear, sometimes looks like the pin mechanisim allows the shifter arm to go way to far forward, I have not adjusted the stops bolt to good so i'll give it a try first,
