Different seats
Has anyone put different back seats in their Blazer? Was wondering if other years were compatible. Maybe even front and back.

I had a bunch of a Blazer I was trying to buy awhile back, he had Tahoe
seats front and rear and the console, I deleted them when he sold it, ttt

To fit the factory mounts, no.
73 and up look the same but don't quit fit right. Integrated seat belt type seats will require structural metal work underneath the body but still doable. If your willing to make custom mounts then almost anything is possible. |

I swapped in a rear seat from a mid 80's Blazer. It will fold up and out of the way, and the main seatbelts attach to the seat frame itself. The end lap belts do attach to the floor. I was able to obtain the seat material from the company that manufactures the seat covers for LMC, and I had it custom upholstered in blue houndstooth so it matches the front seats. Overall I'm very happy with it.

I put 90's cavalier/sunbird seats front and rear in my 72. Mounted the front to the stock lower seat mounts and made my own mounts for the rear. They are supper comfortable.Don't have a pic of the front, but here's the back seats, with sub/console.

Seats are the one thing that everyone has negative comments on about my K5. Someone years ago re-upholstered them with a velour material and buttons. Yes, you read that right. An evenly-spaced square pattern of buttons. I really need to take a picture a post up.
One day, new seats. Those Cavy seats don't look too bad.

I swapped for the 2004 Tahoe third row seat.. fits perfectly and has integrated seatbelts...

I put seats out of a Toyota van in mine. I'll get some pictures posted eventually. It was very easy with some simple modifications. I used all but two of the existing holes.

Was also wondering which ones would be water proof in case get caught with the top off.
