you should do whatever style you like everyone is a little different in what they like on these trucks and what they do.

Welcome to the board. Post some pics of your truck when you can. What are you wanting to end up with, restored to stock or restified (restored with modifications?)

Pics would be helpful, not for you but for the site.

Welcome also, different taste for sure. Some folks like jacked up street queens, some like rock crawlers, some like full on restos. You have to choose, but regardless of your direction, you have found the right place.

Welcome to the boards from Philly, that's the truck I wanted to start with, but never found one. Ended up with a Jimmy instead.

YJ, is that a word? Never heard it before, if that is a good word, than that is what I'm doing to the Jimmy. I'm restifing it! Jim

Like everybody's telling ya, to each their own.

It's what makes this board what it is.

Me personnally...I have two 'restified', one totally stock and one stock but lifted and then there's the rock crawler w/40's in the stable too.

Welcome to the board, enjoy the ride.

Suggestion #1:Tell us all you know about the truck.
Suggestion #2:Tell us what you like and what you want to get out of it.

I agree..........I can tell you what I would like (Oh 351V-6, 4spd, stock suspension, stock interior, NEW eby aluminum stakebody, etc)

BUT, if you don't like it, it doesn't matter what I like

If you can't decide what to do, you could sell it to me, and I'll fix that problem
