69 c20 conversion to k20
hi folks,
can anyone give input to the difference between a 2wd and a 4wd 20 series frame? i have a 69 longhorn with rear leaf suspension and a complete 71 k20 suspension. other than the motor cross member, is there any quirks to this conversion? i am having trouble finding links for this conversion. any help would be appreciated. |

Re: 69 c20 conversion to k20
Don't quote me on this but I think the frames are shaped differently. If I remember correctly there was a thread on this awhile back and it was said to be easier to use a 4X4 frame instead of the 2wd frame or vise versa depending on which way you are going with it.

Re: 69 c20 conversion to k20
i found a site that had the original frame specs, and the front frame hump looked taller for a 4wd. just trying to find out if all the work will be worth it.. thanks for the reply
