How many 73-87 dually trucks on board.

I'm new so forgive me if this is old news. How many dually do we have on board? And I'm not talking about 1 ton flatbeds. When I bought this one I started looking and they must all be out west or something.

Re: How many 73-87 dually trucks on board.

I've only ever seen two true regular cab duallies in my area, and I live in an area that has more trucks than cars, lol

I've got an '84 Crew Cab Silverado Dually.

Older Pics. I haven't had time to do much work on it. Just been driving it a bunch.

I would have thought that we would have more than this on board. Must be that people that own them don't have time for truck boards.

Ron, have you seen the thread "Where are the one tons"? Look here
I see a lot of one ton owners visit that thread so you might try checking it out.

Re: How many 73-87 dually trucks on board.

Thanks for pointing that one out. I skimmed through it and it has a few dually pictures. What I was trying to find out is where is the regular cab dually trucks hiding. A guy here in Big Sandy has a 2000's model regular cab 8' bed like mine and that is all I have seen locally. I had never thought about it and bought this one just because the price was right and it was there. I'm getting about as many questions about it as I do my 72 nova drag car. Just kind of blows me away all this attention on a old work truck.

Re: How many 73-87 dually trucks on board.

No I missed that one. I have a 1977 burb that has the 454 engine and 400 turbo trans. We had talked about putting a 1 ton rearend with duals and front crosmember under it to just pull the enclosed but put it on hold. Glad we did now.

Re: How many 73-87 dually trucks on board.

I am new to the board. I recently purchased and 82 C-30. I replaced the steering components, shocks, brakes, and have doe a tremendous amount of body work trying to get it ready to paint. Got it inspected last week. I hauled a few demolition derby cars with it last night and she did well. Next weekend I'll hook her up to my boat and put it to the real test. Nice site!

It's only got a 4 inch lift and 285/75-16s which are 33s. The lift was on it when I got it, but I've got some plans for it. I'm looking at going to 8 inches of lift with 38-40s.

Got any pics of yours?
