New again

I signed up for this message board awhile ago. Computer damage... thought I'd lost everything.
Rediscovered the site and time to get 'stuff' done again.

My wife recently bought me a '70 swb. She's got to be the perfect woman.
Truck has a 454 bored .30 over, Voodo cam, Holley 800 DP, 'Caddy' seats, shaved door handles & stake bed pockets, louvered hood, air bags on the front, disc brakes for 'stop good'.

Hope to get aquainted with "all y'all".

Re: New again

We're pretty well snowed in today, but I'll take some pics of the inside in a day or so. I don't know what year the caddy was that the seats came out of. I just know they're from a 'caddy'.

Those perfect ladys are awsome aren't they? Mine got me a big block for my truck.
Do you have issues with the louvers? I know of a way to seal them up and still look exactly the same from the outside... no more water on the hot engine killin the paint...

Hey Long Horn...
The louvers haven't been to much of a problem. I only drive it in good weather. I've been caught in the rain a few times, but as long as I'm movin... no water. When it's sittin I get a little water in the engine bay. Not enough to worry about. It spots the chrome but thats about it.

Alright, that's cool. I know pretty much everyone I've talked to hated them after running them a year or two.
