New again
I signed up for this message board awhile ago. Computer damage... thought I'd lost everything.
Rediscovered the site and time to get 'stuff' done again. My wife recently bought me a '70 swb. She's got to be the perfect woman. Truck has a 454 bored .30 over, Voodo cam, Holley 800 DP, 'Caddy' seats, shaved door handles & stake bed pockets, louvered hood, air bags on the front, disc brakes for 'stop good'. Hope to get aquainted with "all y'all".

Re: New again
We're pretty well snowed in today, but I'll take some pics of the inside in a day or so. I don't know what year the caddy was that the seats came out of. I just know they're from a 'caddy'.

Re: New again
Those perfect ladys are awsome aren't they? Mine got me a big block for my truck.
Do you have issues with the louvers? I know of a way to seal them up and still look exactly the same from the outside... no more water on the hot engine killin the paint... Welcome to the board |

The louvers haven't been to much of a problem. I only drive it in good weather. I've been caught in the rain a few times, but as long as I'm movin... no water. When it's sittin I get a little water in the engine bay. Not enough to worry about. It spots the chrome but thats about it.

Alright, that's cool. I know pretty much everyone I've talked to hated them after running them a year or two.
