Re: My now lifted 69 K10
My guess is that the motors out...is it?
35's with a 6" lift always looked right IMO, w/37's and any real wheeling you'll rub. |

Re: My now lifted 69 K10
I think you should step it down a notch. Go with some Geo metro tires and that will give you the added clearance. Definatly should not rub with those. You could kick it up a notch for added clearance and use Ford Festiva tires. They even use a 12 inch rim. They will look awesome in a SSR radial or something like that.

You can really see all the dents and rust and lack of a gas tank in that pic....Yes the motor, tranny, and t-case are out right now. They are sitting in the garage awaiting the motor to be finshed...

Re: My now lifted 69 K10
What did you do with your old springs? Are they in good condition and are you going to sell them?

Re: My now lifted 69 K10
The springs on that truck were no good.I am getting an all spring lift for my 71 swb K10 so I might sell those when I put the lift on it.But I need to be a subscriber first which I plan to do before next year....

Re: My now lifted 69 K10
it looks like it has the saggy butt syndrome that a lot of 6" spring kits have.
i'd throw a zero rate in the rear spring pack. and 35"s are the way to go. btw, i have a set of zero rates and some 35" bfg ATs for sale i feel so dirty whoring myself like this

Re: My now lifted 69 K10
It doesnt have saggy butt syndrome,it had no motor in it during that pic,it will sit lower in the front than the back once the motor is in...
