.....just make sure the old truck is straight when you kick the throttle......just trust me when I tell you that a longhorn is a pretty damn big truck to turn around in 2 lanes! It was fun tho.... L

Re: OH BOY new parts..POSI
when do we get the video, I have 3.73 (non Posi) & I'm planning to upgrade to posi as soon as possible, but used 12 bolt rearends are sooooo expensive, and you don't know how long it might last, so I've been thinking about one of those lockers like the detroit locker or any of several good ones out there, what did you put in? Anybody out ther happy/unhappy with one of these locker units? I want to do burnouts & leave 2 stripes instead of just one.

Re: OH BOY new parts..POSI
So? It's a lockright from powertrax? (Richmand Gear) That's one of the ones I was leaning towards, so? did you install it? How bad is the install? It pretty much takes my 3.73 non posi & turns it into a posi unit? ANy noise when you go around corners? Do you love it? Any complaints? Sorry for all the questions, but I've been thinking about this unit alot lately, & it would be a great mini winter project.

Re: OH BOY new parts..POSI
I haven't had a chance to lean on it yet but I'm going to give it a shot this weekend so I'll know more then. The install wasn't too bad but had some things that were alittle tough. It cliks some going around corners but you can barley hear it with my exhaust but it acts more like a spool to me because I have to give it more gas to turn it due to wide tires and no power sterring but I don't mind it. It was tough to get the axles in far enough to get the clips on but that was about it.bought it used from ebay.
