Lets see some seat pics with new upholstery
I dropped off my set of 67 buckets at the upholstery shop yesterday. I was curious to see some pics of anybodys reupholstered seats, buckets or bench. I want to see any kind of design. Its not to late to change my order. I currently am going with vinyl/cloth hounds tooth in black, but maybe someone has a better idea. Thanks in advance for the pics

If you can wait a few days, and buy me a digital camera
Dropped my bench seat off at the shop a few days ago. Thought about the houndstooth, but everything else was black, so I went with black with the scrollwork stuff. Yours will look great no matter what you do. Might want to stay away from pink, though. |

blue on blue/black houndstooth.
the seatbelts and arm rests dont really match, im not sure if theyre all like that but the armrests came from the truck shop for dirt cheap at the pomona swap, maybe thats why they dont match. i got those original blue visors off ebay for only $14, they are 100% perfect. the seat cover came from GMC pauls, and the color of the new repro seat cover matches the original unfaded visors PERFECTLY Last edited by Dropt72Shortbed; 08-16-2002 at 03:34 AM. |

Here's my original bench, re-upholstered by previous owner in tasteful screaming red (goes great with the bright yellow paint!)

Here's a pic of the bench seat w/ new seat covers from Jim Carter that I re-installed in Maych a couple of days ago.

Parchment with red houndstooth - I have the bench in a 72 Super and the Buddy's are going in a 71 Custom.

Re: Lets see some seat pics with new upholstery
Say Jason, does the console like the one in your truck mount to the same frame as the Buddy bucket?

Re: Lets see some seat pics with new upholstery
No, that style mounts directly to the floor with 4 screws and the BB mount to a frame that connects the 2 seats together

Here's a pic of my buckets. It's been in a couple shows and everyone loves the ostrich (not the real stuff).

Looks great, and the door handles are a nice touch too.
