Front grill imperfections
I have an original grill with scratches and two - three small dents. Can these be worked out or is it just best to replace the grill? I have found grill for 600.00 but do they fit as original i just don't know. If a body shop can re-work the grill to just as new or anyone on the forum can do it please let me know.

Re: Front grill imperfections
$600 better be for a new "GM" grill, inner and outer, and not aftermarket.
Forget about fixing a used grill. By the time you straighten, polish & seal one so it won't fade immediately, you have too much money in it. You can paint or powdercoat a grill, but you really lose the original stock look. Aftermarket is cheaper---GM is better. |

Re: Front grill imperfections
This is my new "triple nickle chrome" grill from goodmark, takes a little finessing to make it fit real good, i think it was $550CDN for the outer and $200CDN for the GM inner

Re: Front grill imperfections
I went to my local GMC parts department and they got me the grill that is on my 69 K20 - it was in perfect shape and having the Chevrolet stamped on it was important to me. I can't recall the price but seems like it was in the $400 for the outer - my inner grill was in good shape.
