2wd rear lift coils
i have been looking around for some coils for my work truck (1970 c10) and i want to raise the suspension an inch or two. i can find front lift coils but no rear coils?

I would think you could use 3/4 ton coils.

couldn't you just raise the coilperches by welding a 2 inch piece of square tubing between the perch and the frame itself , you can still use the stock springs then

i got a job again and having fun at it too idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts Last edited by watahyahknow; 11-12-2006 at 08:00 PM. |

ram man 3/4 coils wont work because they are the same as a 1/2 w HD springs and HD springs or not the 1/2 tons are at the same height

I used the 34-2820 variable rate springs on the back from LMC, (before i found this board) they raised it up about 2 inches at the bumper.
