Question hood bumper question?

Just put new rubber hood bumpers on my 67 C10, minus the front 2 screw in hood bumpers. When I close my hood, it sits real high now, especially in the back. I am thinking that these may settle someday, but not sure when or if?

Any thing I can do so my hood may set correctly again?

Thanks...

If everything looks like its installed correctly, You may have loose hinges. If the hinge has some play (like most will) it will cause the hood to push up quite a bit. Now that you have new rubber in there, its causing it to be worse or more noticable now.

Might be looking at a new set of hinges?

I bet you are right, now that I think of it they do need replacing.

Thank you.
