Wtb Decent 71-72 Factory Am/fm Radio
I'm looking for a decent looking factory AM/FM radio for a 67-72 truck. It doesn't have to work, just look good. Basically I need a decent core, so that I can send it off and get it upgraded with today's components. If you can help me, please let me know. thanks

Re: Wtb Decent 71-72 Factory Am/fm Radio
I'd give $200 for a decent core, or $600 for one that has been updated. Any leads??

Re: Wtb Decent 71-72 Factory Am/fm Radio
There is a guy on evilbay periodiaclly that sells updated radios. I think they go in the 5-600 dollar range. Keep a lookout there.

Re: Wtb Decent 71-72 Factory Am/fm Radio
I would give $5-600 for a decent upgraded radio, but would like to stay away from e-bay if at all possible. If anyone has any leads outside of e-bay, let me know. thanks

kna - TTT means To The Top. I found your thread way down on the list and did a TTT. Look at the response since 5PM today.

Thats an AM only, but the conversion outfits can make them an AM / FM with the modern components.

If 1badss has 10 am/fm radios, there is no need for me to go looking for the one I have.

Re: Wtb Decent 71-72 Factory Am/fm Radio
Have a nice original working AM/FM truck radio. Chrome is nice as is the dial. For this week only, I will include an original radio harness in excellent condition. $350. shipped to your door, insured.
Buying a shell and having it update to newer technology---it's still just a raido, no CD capability, that's why most guys put a am/fm in the dash and a High powered Stereo AM/FM/CD/Satellite/etc. in the Glove Box or even better yet, the CONSOLE!! |

Does anyone have any leads on any leads on any radio restoration shops that restore these, or specialize in these?

I almost never listen to CD's b/c I usually put XM radio in all my vehicles. That's why I'm interested in having it updated with today's technology so I can transmit from the XM tuner to the radio then through the speakers. |
