Motor mount ID

Can anybody tell by just by looking, if the motor mounts shown below are for the front location? the correct SBC mounting location.

My truck's v8 is mounted in the V6 position, and i swear these look just like the V6 mounts i have installed, but i can't be sure, since i've never seen the correct mounts for a SBC

They're cheap enough that there isn't really any risk, but i don't want to buy them and pull my motor to find out they arent what i need.

Yes i know about the tubular mounts, but i can't justify spending that much at this point.

Re: Motor mount ID

Those are Small block V8 towers. I have a set of Big block V6 towers and they have 3 holes in a vertical row where yours a single holes. SB V8 towers can be mounted in either the forward or rear (I-6) position. All the 4x4s that have V8's are mounted in the rear I-6 position. The 2wd truck SB are mounted in the forward holes unless someone didn't know what they where doing. The Big block V6's are mounted in the forward frame holes also. (At least on my 67 GMC they are, I can't confirm that for the 68 & up models).
