Yes just use those parts, they will bolt right up to the v8, at least if they are off the 250 i6.

Re: powerglide behind a 350=problem???
Torque converter and flex plate from the 6 will work on the 8. I do not know if the starters will interchange or not. You can probably use the one off the 350.
As far as handling the 350, depends on the shape of the Powerglide. They can take a lot of abuse, I know I gave mine hell. I had 283, 327 and 348's in front of them and they kept on licking. The were used alot on the drags, so they will take the power. Obviously if your's is not in good condition, then it may have issues. They are not the most efficient though. You'll miss that extra gear, but you can wind first to all get out!!

Re: powerglide behind a 350=problem???
A buddy of mine had a '64 four door Impala with a powerglide and a decently built 327 and it held up fine. He didn't take it easy or baby the car one bit and he drove it daily for the 6 years or so he had it.

My 68 C-10 came from the factory with a Powerglide. I don't know if it's been rebuilt or not, but it's been flawless the 3+ years I've owned it. Ditto on what Palf70Step said about 1st gear

My brother had a '70 Caprice with a 350 and powerglide setup. I've been in it a few times we he would be going along at 65 mph and drop it in low and stomp it. that big ol' boat would take off. He had that car for 3 years and never had any tranny problems out of it. They are strong transmissions, I just like the extra gear myself.
