I need a rear end yoke for a '71 K-10 (I'm assuming this is the 12bolt axle? - it is stock - don't know if 2wd's are the same or not..maybe you do???
Just the yoke - somebody must have run mine with bad u-joints for a while as the new u-joint is sloppy - the yoke cups are about .100" wider than the u-joint. Yes - American made Precision Joints! - i'm pretty sure the yoke is worn (ever had that happen before?) Let me know what you have. Thanks, Andy

Re: WTB - ASAP = Rear End Yoke for a '71 K-10 (4x4 1/2t)
I would think that it's a 12 bolt and if so any 12 bolt truck should work.

thanks for the info. Yeh it probably is a 12 bolt. I don't know wtf it is to be honest - all i know is that the U-Joint doesn't fit - I stuck a couple of small washers in it for now just to hold the cups from sliding around (the truck isn't drivable @ this point anyway) ![]() ![]()

You must not have the correct U-joint. Did it seat OK in the driveshaft side ?

Fit's fine in the Driveshaft - fits fine on the transfer case (they don't make a u-joint that is .100" longer on one axis than the other, the closest thing is a #134 U-joint which is about 1/4" longer on 1 axis and is way too long for the rear end yoke) I did a post in the '67-'72 info board with some more info as well. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=219132 D44 will be different Pretty sure it has to be from a '71-'71 C or K 5-10
