Hey it could be worse you could have been borne and raised in a town that is the unloved stepsister of Fresno (like Madera). Mom always said when life gives you lemons make Vodka and lemonade! Central valley stinks but the people are good so you will do fine! good luck

Fresno - Home of Early classic

Fresno has grow a lot and has had growing pains, like most towns there is good and bad areas. San Jauquin (spelling) valley is the most productive agriculture place in world. Lots of nice people, and areas and classic trucks. They only get about 8-11 inches of precip./yr. (very little rust) My sub originated in Fresno as well as my mom and dad back in the early 30's. Dad can take me into town and show me intersections 5 miles from edge of town (now in town) that he and his twin brother shot doves off fence posts while riding their bicyles in about 1940 (they were out in the country). Not saying fast growth is good by any means just a place that has prospered a bunch mostly due to fruits, nutsd, vegtables you name it. Someday I'm going to visit the early classic guys just to dream.

I have seen a board member or 2 from there. One had sub. Roof Ac units out of burbs on here today fom Clovis (town next to Fresno)

I live about an hour north of Fresno, it ain't so bad here. I came from Los Angeles area, what a culture shock, but I and the family have adapted quite well, except for the summers
