Re: Wiring Help!!!
There should be a wire from the battery to the fuse panel for your " ignition off" power. This wire may go through the starter, ignition switch, or horn relay. If this wire is missing or not connected, you get the problem you have.

Re: Wiring Help!!!
Since there is only one power feed to the fuse panel, (the ignition switch is fed after the bulk head connector) the problem is probably between the fuse panel and the ignition switch.
I don't understand how this could happen as the harnesses plug in the correct way. I wonder if someone has done some rewiring. I suspect that you will have to do some wire tracing. Here is a link to the wiring dagrams for the trucks. http://www.geocities.com/chevroletc1070/wiringdias.html Good luck! Jim |

Re: Wiring Help!!!
The guy who originally wired it up really had no clue what he was doing!! There was an unused neutral safety switch stuffed in the corner, wires leading to nowhere. Its really really frustrating!!! How do we get the lights to work without the ignition. It Sucks, i just wanted to hear the new motor purr...O well LOL.
