Truck tilt/van tilt ???

Is the turn signal switch the same between the truck tilt and van tilts? May be easier to swap ts switches than modify the van tilt I just scored.

Re: Truck tilt/van tilt ???

Should be the same, other than the harness connector, and the hazard knob

If you need either, let me know. I have a few in storage. Could send you a freebie

they are the same, but the hazzard switch and plug on teh van unit may be the newer style... the replacement parts are all like the later van unit

Re: Truck tilt/van tilt ???

That's good. I'm not too worried about it being "correct", just want everything to work. How hard would it be to get the wires out of the flat connector and put them in the curved one?

Re: Truck tilt/van tilt ???

Gonna give it a try anyways. Got a non tilt column I don't plan on using for a spare. Connector should be the same. Thanks Andy.

Re: Truck tilt/van tilt ???

I used a toothpick to depress the connectors on mine. I had to shave the toothpick down a bit, but depress the little metal tab, and pull it out.

Re: Truck tilt/van tilt ???

Krue, I have the tilt pin tool thing. Just load them up and come on down if you want. We'll rip them apart. Besides, I can watch and learn so I can do mine
