Mine is Limp!

My little vent window handle is limp and wiggles around. What does it take to change one of these? Are they available. I need the drivers side.

There's a roll pin that keeps the handle on the shaft. Punch it out with some gentle taps using a hammer and punch. Replace the little wavy washer that acts as a spring to keep tension on the ass'y. You'll see when you get it apart.

make sure you put the pin in tightly, or be like me put it in loosely and as you cruise along the highway and decide open the vent only to discover that it has fallen on to the road as I cruise at 75mph DOH!

Burb, I had one of those that the spring/washer relaxed in and if flopped around long enought the roll pin was starting to get loose in the holes, i replaced it with another used one off another door I had.

LMC carries all that stuff. I'm sure all the vendors on the board do also. I think we even have them at O'Reilly.
