I have read many threads about vintage air, however at least 2 board vendors are Old Air dealers.
Who among us has experiences with the old air systems? I can't seem to find much on this board about old air systems. Thanks for your input.

Re: Any old air users on the board? What's your opinion?
I installed the old air system in a 71 sub I used to have. It was about 5 years ago that I put it in. I was relatively happy with it. I ended up taking a unit out of a van and installing it in the rear. The Old Aire unit ran both systems fairly well and it was reliable. Fit was excellent. My sub originally had the dealer installed underdash air so I had to cut the holes for the center and side vents. I would use it again.

Mine has been in ten years now with no problems. It gets up to 110 here and I never run on high speed after a few minutes. I did install the factory outlets and I like them better than under dash.

What about in - dash vents do you prefer to under dash vents?
Just appearance or a cooling advantage?

The cooling seems better with the center vent in the dash. Also the hoses are out of sight. It cooled good under dash too. Just my preference.
