Re: flip kit ?
The 73 & later flip kit should work w/minor grinding (trimming) of the axle 'flip' bracket.

Re: flip kit ?
Sure you can, just make sure you get your pinion angle right. Dont forget to move the hole in the stock plate to line it back up in the wheel well. You may ruin the old ones cutting, better plan on buying new perchs'. Easier to bolt on a flip kit.

Re: flip kit ?
The others are right with a little fabing it will work. You could go and cut off the old spring pearch bracket, but it requires a lot more work to do not to mention the percise measurement to get all the angles right. You will need more than a flip kit to get 7 inches in the rear. Might consider dearching the springs a little bit. The frame notch kit advertized for your truck is a pain in the butt to install for a first time installer. Be sure to do only one side at a time and secure the frame. Keep a tape handy.

Re: flip kit ?
i think the pinion angle will be way better once it is on top the driveline dives down now so once fliped it should be more level at that point should i consider a one piece drivline?
