Question 80s brake boosters on our trucks and...

ive got a 454 in my 67 and im in the middle of installing power brakes. i was going to use the booster and brakets out of a 72 but i dont like the way it looks . sticks out way to far and its very close to my valve covers. can i use a 73-up setup without any major modifications? i want a cleaner setup and more room . i know some of you guys have the late modle version, what does it take to make it work? thanks .......Rat
