Putting a 1999 350 vortec motor in my 71 swb changed the intake and put a elderbrock carburated intake on it,Changed the distributor to old HEI style .Keeping the one belt system with a fake pulley where the compressor went.Need to know if anyone else has done this change? like what wires i need to use when wiring up the distributor?I know i have to use a eletric fuel pump what is the best to use on elderbrock 650 carb? any suggestions would be great.. Thanks

Re: 99 350 vortec motor

any carb intended fuel pump with a regulator will work. The hei is a hot wire switched with the key to the BAT terminal on the cap and it'll work. Good luck.
