Some paint.....

....well, the inside of the cab has some paint now. We brought it home from my buddy's shop today (I drove 20 mph cause I didn't want any salt sludge splashing on it!!!)

We discussed it today that is seems that paint is the biggest sign of progress on a project. No amount of mechanical work makes as big a statement.

My son went thru his color chip books and decided that he wanted this color.....Viper Blue. The pictures don't do it justice!!!

Re: Some paint.....

That looks great!! What is on the floor and back wall? Looks like bedliner. I really like it! That should help a lot with noise. Love the color also!! Mine is 2006 Impala SS Laser Blue, and pictures do not do it justice either.

Re: Some paint.....

I love that color and the liner is a great idea. I helped a buddy roll some liner type stuff on the inside of his truck. I made a huge difference in sound and made the inside "hose-able".

The inside of the cab is "single stage" and the outside will be "base coat/clear coat".......

My buddy the body shop guru is a perfectionist, so I have him call all the shots when it comes to the "pretty" stuff!!!

Looks good! I did one of my early bronco's with line-x and it was great. My 2wd blazer may get the same treatment.

I really like the blue,I'm partial to blue and I too like the spray in bed liner looks great and I'LL bet that will cut down on road noise.
