I'm having a few second thoughts about Yellow. do any of you have some pictures of a yellow 70-72 gmc fleetside you could upload to me, just to reasure me. Also anyone have experience with Limco 2 paint?

Limco is pretty good. I used to be a devote rm fan but have switched to cross fire from napa do to price and avaliability. There is a thread on here with one let me see if I can find it.

Re: Yellow Truck
I was going to paint my 70 GMC yellow, but my 9 year old Grandson had the final say, and it went pearl aqua blue. I've seen yellow GMC's with black or gray interiors and they look fantastic. I say, "PAINT IT" yellow!!

Re: Yellow Truck
I love the yellow trucks. I think that color is great. There was a picture of a yellow and black interior that I was looking at here somewhere last week, I'll see if I can find it. Its a great combo.

Re: Yellow Truck
Yellow looks sweet on ’67-’72 trucks. Here is mine….It is 1976 Corvette Yellow that I painted in 1993. If I remember right I used PPG base coat/clear coat products. It is has been garaged since the paint job and still looks this good today. Although, next paint job it will be going back to it’s original gold/white combo like the 50th anniversary Chevrolet trucks.

Re: Yellow Truck
I personally love yellow on the right vehicle, as it makes the body lines POP!
I refer to yellow as a "Fast" color, as most sports cars look good in it, but most daily driver types don't. My 71 chevelle SS (never should've sold it ) was yellow with black stripes.
